So, it's not hard to understand why caffeine would not be a good choice late at night if you want to get some decent sleep. You can set a goal to stop consuming anything that is stimulating after a certain hour each day. This practice has been a big help to a lot of people. They simply drink non-caffeine beverages and a water. It is good to make this time at least a few hours before you normally head toward bed to give your body time to allow the caffeine and other stimulants to work their way out of your system before you lie down.

You don't need scientists to tell you, since you already know that sleep is much harder in coming when the room is hot. It is a lot easier to keep the room at the right temperature in the winter, than in the summer, because it is harder to cool down the hot nights. If it is too expensive to run an air conditioner all day long in the hot weather, at least you can use it during sleeping hours, to keep that room cool. You can also use the fan or air conditioner as a "white noise" machine to block out background noises that might ordinarily keep you awake.

The best way to get good sleep is to have the room dark. It seems to be a no brainer that it would be hard to sleep in a room filled with light, but there are surprisingly many people who live with this frustration. The light won't make much of a difference if you are tired enough. The night-time is meant for sleeping, and the brain knows that darkness means that, so make you room as dark as possible to signal your brain. People who normally sleep during the day and work at night could be well served with some blackout curtains to help them fall asleep easier after a shift.
 
Here's the fourth tip: Don't give up! It's not necessary to spend the rest of your life without getting adequate sleep. There are a lot of steps that you can take to increase your chances of falling and staying asleep each night. If you search the field of folk medicine or home remedies you will find a lot of suggestions. If they don't help, you should seriously consider a visit to your health care practitioner. While your medical practitioner is analyzing your problem to find a permanent solution, he or she can treat your temporary symptoms with a sleep aid. Whatever happens don't give up: sleep can be yours!

With better sleeping patterns, you can be able to do away with some surgeries such as blepharoplasty since your body will be looking great at all times.
